The NBA All-Rookie Team’s were announced earlier today, and to my surprise Sacramento King Nik Stauskas, better known as Sauce Castillo around these parts, received one All-Rookie Second Team vote.
The vote came from Glenn Consor of 106.7 The Fan in Washington. Consor works as the Wizards radio color analyst.
Stauskas appeared in two games against Washington this season, scoring a combined 8 points.
I wouldn’t have voted for Stauskas on either the first or second team ballot, to be perfectly honest, but in all fairness to Nik, he did step his game up after the All-Star break.
