Marvin Bagley III won’t need surgery on fractured hand

On Monday, when the Sacramento Kings played the Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center, Marvin Bagley III suffered a fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his left hand. While initial fears were that Bagley would have to undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the season, the team provided an encouraging update on Bagley’s rehabilitation process on Thursday:

Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III (left fourth metacarpal fracture) consulted with a hand specialist and it has been determined that surgery is not required. Bagley is expected to make a full recovery and an update regarding his status will be provided in four weeks.
