After a long recovery period for his knee injury, Sacramento Kings rookie Marvin Bagley III has been cleared to play tonight against the Orlando Magic. Prior to his injury, Bagley had worked his way into the rotation by contributing 12.7 points along with 6.1 rebounds.
Sacramento has been able to compete in every game since Marvin was injured on Dec. 14 against the Warriors, but it’s been a struggle without his energetic play and rebounding. The Kings just didn’t have the extra punch to deliver a few more victories. It remains to be seen if Bagley will have a minutes restriction, but he is cleared to resume “all basketball activities”.
