The Sacramento Kings completely owned the Dallas Mavericks during the 2020-21 season, winning all three games in a comfortable fashion. Despite the Mavericks being a playoff team a year ago, the matchups seemed to work out in the Kings’ way each time they squared off last season.
The Mavericks enter this season with a few major organizational changes, including replacing Rick Carlisle with Jason Kidd. The Kidd era has gotten off to a bit of a rocky start, as the Mavericks have a 3-2 record, but have been blown out twice and have a -6.
