Divac originally took the job as an unqualified former franchise favorite, and the hiring was chastised and regarded as just another bad decision by the league’s laughing stock franchise. After a couple of rocky seasons and mixed results from his moves, it seems as though Vlade Divac has found his footing in running the Sacramento Kings front office over the past couple of years.
The bad decisions that he’s made have been so remarkably bad that it’s easy to make an argument for his good decisions being lucky ones. Divac certainly does not deserve all of the criticism he receives, but some of it may be warranted, especially if this promising rebuild does not go to plan.
