The Sacramento Kings are adding some help before the NBA’s planned return to play in Orlando. The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that free agent forward Corey Brewer will sign with the Kings during the NBA’s transaction window.
This will be Brewer’s second stint with Sacramento. He last played for the Kings in 2018-19, appearing in 24 games. Brewer averaged 4.1 points on 44.6% shooting from the field, including 33.3% shooting from behind the arc during that span.
Brewer is a 17-year veteran who made a career out of his defensive abilities. The 34-year-old had a net rating of +11 during his last stop with the Kings, per Basketball Reference.
