Nike and the NBA officially unveiled the fourth and final set of jerseys for each team today, with these jerseys supposed to represent the city each team plays in. We got a sneak preview of Sacramento’s jerseys thanks to a leak from NBA 2K, and while those jerseys weren’t 100% accurate (the logo and numbers were too big) the real versions are very similar.
With these jerseys, the Kings are paying tribute to the baby blue uniform that started it all in Sacramento 32 years ago, but with a modern spin on it.
“Thirty-two years ago, the Kings transformed Sacramento and created a community of basketball fans that are unmatched around the NBA,” said Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart.
