Kings offense sputters in 84-74 loss to Lakers

For the second night in a row, the Sacramento Kings lost a game at the Golden 1 Center to an in-state rival, falling to the Los Angeles Lakers 84-74 on Wednesday. As is expected when you put together a bunch of young guys without much practice time, much of Wednesday’s game was sloppy.

The Kings couldn’t buy a shot from three on Wednesday, finishing just 2-of-17 from behind the arc and were coughing up the ball all night, finishing with 19 turnovers.

Following his impressive Kings debut on Tuesday against the Warriors, Davion Mitchell struggled offensively on Wednesday night, as he finished with 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting from the floor.
