Last night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks was the 41st game of the season for the Sacramento Kings, marking the halfway point of the season.
The season has certainly been underwhelming. After 41 games last year, the Kings were an even 21-21 and tied for the 9th seed. This year, the team finds themselves in a 15-26 hole, and there are six teams between them and the final playoff spot. The numbers have certainly not been pretty this season, and there are plenty of excuses and finger-pointing to go around.
