There’s good news and there’s bad news. The good new is that, for the first time since Jan. 2 and just the fifth time this season, the Sacramento Kings held a team under 120 points. The bad news is that they still lost, and by 19 points.
Despite a strong start to the game, the Kings fell to the Clippers 115-96 on Wednesday. The Kings have now lost their last four games, which is their longest losing streak of the season, and eight of their last 10 games.
The Clippers technically started pulling away in the second quarter, where they outscored the Kings 36-27, but because the Kings won their first quarter 29-25, Los Angeles only led by five points at the half.
