Although Sacramento went into the halftime break up just three, the Kings controlled the game for the majority of the first half thanks to impressive play by DeMarcus Cousins and Willie Cauley-Stein.
Cousins recorded a double-double (13 points and 10 rebounds) in 17 first half minutes, while Cauley-Stein added eight points and seven rebounds. Sactown held Atlanta to 40 percent shooting and just 5-of-17 beyond the arc in the first two frames.
An early third quarter run netted the Hawks a lead before SAC was able to storm back with an 18-0 run led by Boogie, Ben McLemore and Rajon Rondo, who combined for 13 of the 18 points.
