Kings collapse in third quarter, lose first regular season game

A perfect 72-0 record is no longer in play for the Sacramento Kings. After winning the first two games on their regular season schedule, the Kings lost to the Phoenix Suns 116-100 on Sunday night.

The Kings looked as sharp as they’ve looked all season to start the game, and rookie Tyrese Haliburton was at the center of everything they did. In his third official NBA game, Haliburton looked like a veteran, taking his time to break down defenses and moving well without the ball in his hands. Haliburton ended the game with 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc.
