In all the Lakers talk surrounding LeBron James and Luka Doncic, other players tend to get lost in the shuffle. Regardless, the storied NBA franchise can't afford to lose sight of its ultimate goal, and that's adding more championship banners in the rafters.
Apparently, the franchise also can't afford to pay Austin Reaves what the market would seem to indicate he's worth. Time is running out on his current contract, and the Lakers have yet to lock him down. That may not be happening.
While losing Reaves could harm the Lakers' shot at their next title, it could work out incredibly well for the Kings.
