It has almost become a tradition at this point for the Sacramento Kings to spot opposing teams 10+ points before scoring themselves. Today was no different, as Toronto came out strong while the Kings once again seemed unprepared to play.
To add to the frustration, the Raptors gave the Kings plenty of chances to get back in this game. After trailing 17-2 in the early minutes, Buddy Hield and JaKarr Sampson came in off the Kings bench to provide a nice lift and cut Toronto’s lead to just 5 after the first quarter.
