ESPN began airing its coverage the first annual (and hopefully ever) NBA 2K Players Tournament on Friday evening, and Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes was a participant in one of the four matchups. He went up against Trae Young in the 6:30PM timeslot in a matchup of the 2 and 15 seeds. Barnes played as the Toronto Raptors, Young as the Milwaukee Bucks.
The game was never close and has us questioning whether Barnes should have been in this tournament, and whether he’d ever played 2K before. Young jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and never looked back, laying the whooping on Barnes by a final score of 101-59.
