New Sacramento Kings general manager Monte McNair wants to focus on building the team through the draft. He alluded to how important picks are during his introductory press conference and will have his first chance to add an impact player when the Kings pick 12th at the 2020 NBA Draft.
One player who is projected to be selected in the Nos. 10 to 15 range is Florida State forward Patrick Williams. The freshman averaged 9.2 points and 4 rebounds per game for the Seminoles last season. Williams is considered to be one of the better wing defenders available this year, which is something Sacramento needs.
