Fox’s All-Star plans are still on course after a hard fall in Houston

Kings guard De’Aaron Fox was evaluated Thursday morning in Sacramento and, barring any changes in his condition, is expected to play in Friday’s Rising Stars game.

Fox needed stitches above his right eye and his chin after a hard fall with 34.3 seconds to play in Sacramento’s 100-91 loss Wednesday at the Houston Rockets.

Fox was added to the Rising Stars roster Wednesday as an injury replacement for Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball.

Fox is one of three Kings in the game. Fox is on the U.S. Team while Bogdan Bogdanovic and Buddy Hield will represent the World Team.
