For the first time since the 2003-04 campaign, the Sacramento Kings are 2-0 to start an NBA season.
Point guard De’Aaron Fox had 24 points and seven assists, while Marvin Bagley III finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double in as many games as the Kings beat the Phoenix Suns 106-103.
Just like in the season-opening win over the Denver Nuggets, this game was close down the stretch. This time, it was center Richaun Holmes who came up big to help seal the win.
Sacramento led 99-97 with 1:43 left to go when Holmes rebounded a Harrison Barnes and completed a three-point play to put the Kings up by five.
