Fourth Quarter Causes Sacramento Kings To Fall Short In Minnesota

The Sacramento Kings start out their road trip with a loss as they were defeated by the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 111-106.

Game Summary

An electric 14-point first quarter from De’Aaron Fox gave the Sacramento Kings a slim 24-23 lead heading into the second period of what turned out to be a slugfest. A seesaw second quarter saw Sacramento get outscored 24-33 which had them in a 56-54 hole following a 10-2 scoring run by Minnesota to end the half.

An 8-0 run to open the second half set the tone for the Kings out of the locker room which eventually led the Kings to take a 74-69 lead with under three minutes left in the third.
