Drew Eubanks' injury opened the door for a rookie Kings' return

The injury train continues its long, destructive trip through the Sacramento Kings' roster, this time taking out Drew Eubanks. With him sidelined, the Kings called up rookie Dylan Cardwell from the G League to help fill the gap. He didn't end up playing, but he was there in case he was needed.

Eubanks joined the roster in the wake of the Jonas Valanciunas trade. With him gone, there was a need for a backup for starting center Domantas Sabonis. Eubanks is a solid rebounder and scorer, and is reasonably good on defense. He wasn't a bad choice to fill that void over the past few weeks.
