De’Aaron Fox did everything he could to make sure the Sacramento Kings didn’t extend their losing streak to three games on Wednesday, and fortunately for him, his efforts didn’t go to waste this time around. Behind another dominant fourth quarter performance from Fox, the Kings were able to get the first win of their east coast road trip on Wednesday, beating the Washington Wizards 121-119.
As is usually the case in games between two sub-.500 teams, Wednesday night’s game was tough to watch, particularly in the fourth quarter. Not only did the Kings’ offense grow stagnant in crunch time once again, but the Wizards suddenly found their rhythm and made what was a nine-point game into a nail-biter.
