Star point guard De’Aaron Fox sprained his left ankle at practice today and will be reevaluated in 7-10 days. This a huge blow for the Kings. Fox is unquestionably the squad’s best player, and according to reports from the bubble, has looked great during practice.
Sacramento wing Kent Bazemore spoke about Fox earlier Tuesday during a media availability and said, “Fox is moving as fast as ever.” Fox is averaging 20.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 31.7 minutes per game for the Kings during the 2019-20 season.
