About a month before training camps began this fall, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Tim MacMahon, and Anthony Slater discussed Domantas Sabonis’ future during an episode of the Hoop Collective podcast, noting that the Kings center changed agents over the offseason, hiring Aaron Mintz and Steven Heumann of CAA Sports.
As ESPN’s reporters pointed out at the time, Mintz and Heumann also represent Walker Kessler and Trae Young and recently helped steer those clients to new teams willing to sign them to lucrative new contracts. Kessler was signed-and-traded from the Jazz to the Lakers, who gave him a four-year, $129.
