This past weekend, Sacramento Kings head coach Dave Joerger, along with the Jr. NBA, conducted a basketball camp at Red Cloud Indian School on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Almost 100 boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 14 participated in the camp.
Accompanying Joerger was Kings first-round draft pick Skal Labissiere, who also played an active role during the camp.
Skal is no stranger to giving back to the community; as he noted in a recent episode of the Kings all-access series, “Inside the Kingdom.” One of his first events as a member of the Sacramento Kings was attending a Jr.
