For the 12th consecutive year, the Kings are taking part in the NBA draft lottery. Not including trades, the lottery is for teams which failed to reach the postseason.
Unfortunately for Sacramento, the team currently has the longest streak of missing the playoffs. That was held by the Timberwolves, but Minnesota got in for the first time since 2004 with a final-day victory over the Denver Nuggets.
