There is an abundance of uncertainty and negativity surrounding the current situation around the world, and the same for the sports community and the NBA itself. There are not many positives to take from an unprecedented event like the one we are living through, but we’re going to try and take a stab at it as it pertains to the Sacramento Kings basketball team.
What was played of the 2019-’20 season was filled with adversity for the Kings, from on-court underachievement to mishandling of injuries. The NBA’s hiatus came at a time when the Kings were poised to make an unlikely playoff push over the last 18 games of the season, and that dream is likely over now that the completion of the regular season is in jeopardy.
