Carlton Agudosi takes long strides, but he is one small step from making his NFL debut.
The Rutgers product has been promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster of the Arizona Cardinals, sources told NJ Advance Media. He could play in his first regular-season game Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Agudosi went undrafted after a perplexing career at Rutgers, where he managed just 35 catches for 513 yards and two touchdowns from 2013-16. He played in 45 career games with six starts.

Under-recruited out of Franklin High School -- Rutgers was his only major offer -- and known for having big performances in intra-squad spring and training camp scrimmages, Agudosi sometimes struggled with drops on gamedays.
