CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- As much as Rutgers coach Chris Ash wanted to exhale and bask in the glow of a Big Ten win -- which he did in a raucous postgame locker room -- he also couldn't fight off his perfectionist nature.

"We didn't play our best football today," Ash said. "We had too many turnovers (three). We had several foolish penalties. Again, we've got to get that cleaned up."
