PISCATAWAY -- Greg Schiano seemed to genuinely enjoy his homecoming to New Jersey, even if his old employer's attempt at honoring him with a scoreboard tribute came and went without him noticing.
He saw a few old friends. He watched his defense pitch a shutout. And, while he would never say this, the best part had to have occurred just before midnight after Ohio State obliterated Rutgers for the fourth straight time since the Scarlet Knights joined the Big Ten.
He got back on a bus and left town.
Ohio State's 56-0 victory had to remind Schiano of those grim days in his early tenure as head coach in Piscataway.
