Rutgers played true freshmen Tyshon Fogg, Micah Clark, Sam Vretman -- all of whom were highly regarded recruits -- for the first time in the second half against Morgan State. That means none can redshirt unless there is an injury that pops up in the Nebraska game.
"So it's out of necessity that they have to play, which is fine," Ash said. "But in terms of getting into the games, Saturday was great to be able to give them an opportunity, for the ones that haven't done it yet, just to see where they are at.
