Technically speaking, Tariq Cole didn’t give up a sack last week. But Rutgers’ standout left tackle was part of an offensive line that yielded a sack and he’s not happy about it.
“Giving up a sack kind of got on my nerves,’’ Cole said. “I know it wasn’t on my side, but still we gave up a sack as a unit so we need to get better (and) learn from the film still. We’re going to get better this week.’’
Rutgers ranks second-best in the Big Ten in sacks allowed, yielding just six in seven games this season.
