Rutgers fans have not had much to celebrate through the first month of the season, and things don't look all that promising for the remaining two.
But they do have this: While there have been some clumsy points, Chris Ash and John McNulty are handling true freshman Artur Sitkowski and the team's quarterback situation the right way.
Sitkowski has started the first four games and struggled. But Ash and McNulty have wisely stayed the course and will stick with him in Saturday's Big Ten home opener against Indiana at HighPoint.com Stadium in Piscataway and, presumably, the seven remaining games after that.
