If Rutgers football co-captains had a 'C' stitched onto their jerseys like hockey players, Dorian Miller would be a near-lock to wear the letter in 2017.
As is, Miller favors another badge on the team's new uniforms.
In a social media post, the redshirt senior offensive lineman admitted to skepticism when he heard that Rutgers was switching from Nike to adidas on July 1. He also praised the new look, particularly the small state of New Jersey outline that is on the back above the nameplate.
Miller's comments are especially interesting because it is the first unfiltered reaction from a current high-profile Rutgers student-athlete about the move to adidas.
