Noah Joseph was aiming for professional development.

He ended up taking the next step in his profession.

The new Rutgers co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach played for Ash at Drake University, and was a graduate assistant on the same staff there and at Iowa State. Once the second signing day passed in February, Joseph wanted to talk shop with Ash. He ended up getting a job with him and leaving Indiana after four years as its safeties coach and defensive recruiting coordinator.
