PISCATAWAY -- It's a safe bet that as his Washington team starts to game-plan for its Sept. 1 season opener against Rutgers, Huskies coach Chris Petersen won't lose sleep over the Scarlet Knights' still-undecided right guard competition.
And that's why Rutgers offensive line coach A.J. Blazek isn't about to play coy when pressed on who is winning the three-man competition between redshirt junior Marcus Applefield, redshirt sophomore Zach Venesky and redshirt freshman Nick Krimin.
"I tell you what, it's really been a lot of fun,'' Blazek said.
