Shorter stole the day. The 6-4, 215-pounder set off the camp running one of the fastest 40-yard dash times of the day (in the low 4.5-seond range). He then backed up that time by beating two of the top three other fastest 40-yard dash runners -- one of which was Boston College sophomore Rahmir Johnson -- for fastest man honors. But that was just the beginning.
Shorter then went on to display impressive foot speed, quickness and confidence through drills before cooking defenders during one-on-ones. He excelled at tracking the deep ball and making big plays over the top, and made it look effortless.
