One year after five former Rutgers players participated in Super Bowl 51, six ex-Scarlet Knights will be participating in the NFL playoffs. Two others still have a chance to reach the postseason if their respective teams clinch playoff spots in Week 17.
Should the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots square off in Super Bowl 52, Rutgers would have its most former players participating on the NFL’s grand stage.

Cut by the Cleveland Browns after hauling in 18 receptions for 233 yards in nine games this fall, Rutgers’ single-season (1,371 yards) and career-record holder for receiving yardage has found a home in New England, where he’s had two catches for 23 yards the past two weeks.
