Where does Rutgers coach Kyle Flood's $1.25M salary rank in Big Ten?

This year, Big Ten coaches on average earn more money than their peers in other conferences, according to the USA TODAY's annual study of college football coaching salaries released Thursday.

In 2015, the average salary for the 13 head coaches is $3.21 million, according to the USA TODAY database (as an interim head coach, Illinois' Bill Cubit was omitted from the average).

That average figure swelled this year thanks to the lucrative contract given to Jim Harbaugh, who in his first season as Michigan coach is set to earn at least $7 million annually.
