A three-star recruit from South Carolina, Camper decommitted from Rutgers in January of 2015. Camper flipped to South Carolina to play for coach Steve Spurrier, who has since retired. Camper played 12 games last season as a true freshman mostly on special teams and he is expected to compete for a starting tackle job this season.
Rutgers experienced a significant number of decommitments in the 2014 and 2015 recruiting classes. The 2014 class was hit especially hard with 13 decommitments, including many top recruits. Now that those players have had a year or two at their schools, here's a look at how they have panned out:
