What Rutgers did right, wrong in 35-7 win over Texas State: Raheem Blackshear emerges as offensive focal point

The buzz around the program coming into the year was offensive coordinator John McNulty would try to get Blackshear 15-20 touches a game in a variety of ways.

That’s exactly what played out against the Bobcats.

Blackshear touched the ball 19 times in the game – 12 carries and seven receptions – for a combined 118 yards of offense (62 rush, 56 receiving) and two scores.
