Despite decommitting for Rutgers in November, Cherokee (Marlton, N.J.) senior running back Johnathan Lovett is one of Rutgers' top remaining targets down the stretch, if not its top priority. And with Rutgers replacing running backs coach Zak Kuhr -- who took an offensive coordinator job at Texas State -- with Lester Erb, it's essential that Erb develop a relationship with Lovett with national signing day approaching.
"They just got rid of coach K, my main recruiter -- they didn't get rid of him, he left for an offensive coordinator job," Lovett, the 5-11, 190-pound three-star told NJ.
