But the Scarlet Knights coach made that point pretty clear following the Nittany Lions' 35-6 triumph over the Scarlet Knights before 107,531 fans at Beaver Stadium.
"We just have to keep developing the players we have and keep recruiting to build depth at the skill positions that we can go play and compete with a team like this,'' Ash said following a loss that dropped the Scarlet Knights to 4-6 overall and 3-4 in Big Ten play.
