We're less than two months away from the return of Rutgers football, and with a new coaching staff leading the way, everyone is wondering how the team will look when they take the field this fall. In particular, the offense will be seeing big changes, running a power spread under OC Drew Mehringer rather than the pro-style offense of previous years.
One position that is more or less set is running back. Even without Paul James, Rutgers brings back Robert Martin, Josh Hicks, and Justin Goodwin while adding true freshman Trey Sneed into the mix.
I spoke with Mark Rogers about the running backs, who should emerge as the lead dog, and how the future of the position looks.
