PISCATAWAY - It was only the first day of training camp, but when the Rutgers football team lined up for their individual position drills during the part of practice open to the media, all eyes were on the quarterbacks. Chris Laviano took the first snap and TCU transfer Zach Allen followed right behind.
After practice head coach Chris Ash said of his decision, "They're the two that have earned it. Chris Laviano had a great summer ... Zach Allen, it's been documented why we brought him in, to create competition.
