PISCATAWAY -- If you want to tick off a college football head coach, just ask him about qualifying for a bowl game when your team is a few wins away from bowl-eligibility in early November.
Maryland coach D.J. Durkin was asked before the Rutgers game for his thoughts on bowl-eligibility.
"No, I don't see how you could do (think about it) as a coach,'' Durkin said. "Everyone -- coaches, players all know what that number is (6 wins). It's not something we talk about.''
Again, Durkin said this before his Terrapins lost to Rutgers, 31-24, on Saturday night.
