On Tuesday, Kevin Warren was introduced as the next commissioner of the Big Ten Conference. He was an extremely successful NFL executive, most notably as the COO for the Minnesota Vikings for the past 14 years. He is a graduate of Grand Canyon University and has an MBA from Arizona State and law degree from Notre Dame.
Warren will officially join the conference in September and take over for outgoing commissioner Jim Delany on January 1st, 2020. He will be just the sixth commissioner in the Big Ten’s 123 year history and become the first ever African-American commissioner for a power five conference.
