BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The question was about Indiana's success on third down and what keyed the Hoosiers' 2-for-13 success rate against Rutgers.
But Chris Ash wasn't about to get into semantics.
"They play hard,'' the Rutgers coach said after his team dropped a 41-0 decision on Saturday evening. "That's it -- they play hard. They play with good fundamentals and that's what we try to do and we didn't do today.''
It begged a follow-up question: Do you think your team did not play hard Saturday?
"Until I watch the film, I can't tell for sure,'' Ash said.
