New head coach Chris Ash addressed the media following his Rutgers debut, a game they lost 48-13 to #14 Washington. Ash was honest in his assessment of what the team needs to improve on and indicated “we have a lot of work to do.” He backed starting quarterback Chris Laviano, crediting his toughness and pointed out areas that he got better with as the game went on.
