PISCATAWAY – Even though he was a Glassboro High School student at the time, Ronnie James found himself in the middle of the Rutgers-Ohio State game week last season.
A few days prior to the first meeting between the Big Ten East Division members, James, a Rutgers-bound recruit, received a scholarship offer from Ohio State coach Urban Meyer.
“It was a great experience to receive an offer from Ohio State,” James said, “but I already knew that Rutgers was the right place. It was the best fit for me.”
