Rutgers picked up a huge in-state commitment when Woodrow Wilson (Camden, N.J.) athlete Travon King pledged to the Scarlet Knights earlier this week.
"It just made sense. It's a great school and I don't have to go too far from home to play there," King told NJ.com early Saturday afternoon. "And they offer a lot as far as life after football."
King made his intentions known Saturday via a tweet.
A 6-3, 205-pound three-star, King projects to multiple positions, including defensive end, rush end, outside linebacker, flex tight end and wide receiver.
